17 Things to Know About Grief

July 2024, I lost my husband. Three days before that day, we had spent the whole morning in the bedroom chatting and laughing. He shared with me the plans he had for us, and there was no indication that he would be going to be with the Lord soon. Later that afternoon, we went Matebeto, then Honeydew to get our supper. Whilst at Honeydew, we saw an old couple, and he told me that we were going to be that old couple that wouldn’t need walking sticks. Little did we know, we wouldn’t end up growing old together. Little did I know, I would remain alone. The void is so loud.
